Although the garments are machine washable, extra care should be
taken in order to preserve the paint. Some paint residue will come off
with the first wash. It softens the colors and resembles suede. The
stiffness of the fabric from the paint will soften with the first wearing and
continue to soften with age.
Use a gentle detergent like Ivory Snow or Dreft. I use Ivory Snow.
Use gentle cycle with cold water.
Do not dry clean, soak, use fabric softener, bleach, hot or warm water.
Special Considerations;
Garments with ceramic buttons should be buttoned and turned inside out.
Linen should be hung to dry.
